Jung Joon Young Is Casual Cool For ize Magazine

"Teenager" singer Jung Joon Young became a bad boy with a distinct sense of style for the February issue of ize Magazine. The rocker wore printed sweatshirts, leather pants, overalls, and tortoise shell frame sunglasses, to name a few wardrobe pieces, in the simple pictorial that concentrated on displaying casual-with-an-edge style. One of his standout pieces was a Cheap Monday sleeve-less tank top with censored subtitles. A t-shirt version of the top can be yours for $31 at the brand's official online store.

Jung participated in a behind-the-scenes video for the pictorial as well. The video shows the styling process and the singer's various modeling poses. He is shown holding on to various props including a flower plant, gummy bears, and Furby dolls.

During the accompanying interview, the artist discussed his acting career, his love for American rock band Nirvana, and the difference between being a rocker and entertainer, among various other interesting topics.

When asked whether his latest guitar purchase suited the mood of his upcoming album, Jung responded, "I have always liked Gibson guitars but the style of my upcoming album does not really suit the feeling given off by Gibson guitars. This album is fused with some British Rock style. In fact, it was a style which I didn't like in the past as it didn't seem like a tasteful genre, because it just gives off the feeling of a guy fashionista..."

When asked to describe what hardships he has faced as an entertainer, the singer was quick to point out the invasive power of social media. He stated, "Times when I want to do certain things...For example, even though smoking in public is discouraged, people still close one eye at times...However, if I were the one smoking in public, I would end up in big trouble if people witnessed it! This is all Instagram's fault! One tag and all the pictures are out...Don't other entertainers feel this way as well? If more social networks are introduced in the future, our lives will probably change as well."

Jung Joon Young recently released the track "Same Place" for Part 4 of the Modern Farmer OST.
