Is Will Smith angling to join a new entertainment agency?

During 2014 interview with KBS 2TV's Entertainment Relay, Will Smith discussed his love for YG Entertainment. The interviewed aired in South Korea on February 21, and made headlines in South Korea for Smith's comments on the show. Smith has shown affinity for South Korea and K-pop in the past.

In May 2014, Will Smith and actress Margot Robbie sat down with KBS to discuss their film Focus. The interviewer asked Smith about visiting YG Entertainment's building during his last visit to South Korea.

"They've got beautiful things going on over there," said Smith. "I have a few friends over at YG Entertainment."

Smith and his son Jayden visited South Korea in 2013, and the two of them met with YG Entertainment at the time. At the time, the two also appeared on Entertainment Relay.

"YG is really amazing. I want the YG Family to give me a call," said Smith.

Will Smith is a popular Hollywood actor, appearing as the title character in the iconic sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bell Air and movies like Men In Black and Ali. He and his son Jayden were in South Korea to promote the movie After Earth.

YG Entertainment isn't the only group of Korean singers that Will Smith has a relationship with. During the After Earth promotions, Smith asked Jay Park to perform. He also expressed interest in collaborating with Psy on a song. Along with being an actor, Smith is a popular hip hop artist. He released his last album, "Lost and Found" in 2005.
