K-Pop Boy Band MYNAME Top Japan’s Oricon Album Daily Chart With New Album ‘I.M.G. - Without You’

MYNAME have topped the Japanese Oricon charts with their new album "I.M.G. - Without You."

Oricon revealed on Wednesday that MYNAME’s new album, released on Tuesday, sold 34,879 copies in the first 24 hours, placing it first on the pop chart.

The MYNAME band members held a record release party on Tuesday, performing five songs from "I.M.G. - Without You"  to a crowd of 2,000 fans.

The group's first Japanese release, “We Are MYNAME” only made it to the third spot on Oricon's weekly chart listings. Their second album "Five Stars," made it to number two.

MYNAME was formed in 2011 by Fly To The Sky member Hwanhee. In 2012, the five-member K-pop band made their Japanese debut.

They are currently promoting their single "Too Very So Much" in Korea.
