Just a couple of hours upon their arrival in Malaysia on December 14, NU'EST, which comprises of Minhyun, Ren, JR, Baekho and Aron, met and greeted the press at a press conference held at the JW Marriott, Kuala Lumpur. 

After greeting the press, Aron expressed his happiness of being back in Malaysia for the second time this year and asked for Malaysian fans to continue supporting them. When asked whether they had visited any places in Malaysia, Baekho said they had not been able to go anywhere besides their hotel and said that they would like to visit KLCC. They also managed to learn a new Malay word, which is "Apa Khabar?" (How Are You?).

The group then proceeded to describe Malaysia in their own words. Minhyun used the word 'passion' to describe the country because the fans are always passionate during performance. Ren, the youngest of the group, described Malaysia as 'love' because he loves Malaysia. JR, the leader, used the word 'chance' because Malaysia has given them the chance to be here and perform in the country. Meanwhile, Baekho used the word 'multicultural', since Malaysia is a country with multiple culture. Lastly, Aron used the word 'beautiful'.

Talking about their Christmas plans, the members talked about exchanging socks with each other as presents.  And since it is winter in Korea, Baekho said the best place to visit during winter is Kangwondo, because you can have skiing activities over there. Later, when asked about their favourite seasons, Aron, JR and Minhyun cited that they love spring because of the cherry blossoms while Ren said he preferred autumn since the weather is just nice, not too hot and not too cold. Baekho said that he has no preference, stating that when it's winter, he likes summer and when it's summer, he likes winter. 

Aron also revealed that they're preparing for a comeback in early 2013, though he said he cannot reveal much whether it would be a full-length album or not. When asked about acting, Aron said that they're all interested in acting and if a chance comes through, they would like to try it. Then they continued mentioning the kind of characters that they wanted to portray in a drama or a movie. Minhyun said he wanted to portray the character of a student, since he is still a student himself. When asked what kind of student, he said, "a smart one,"  then proceeded to show the action of being a smart student by writing vigorously on the paper in front of him. Ren, who looks pretty with his blonde hair, said that he wanted to portray character like Kim Hyun Joong did in "Boys Over Flowers." JR and Baekho said that they wanted to do action movies. JR showed a pose of being an action man but ended up laughing and covering his face due to shyness. Baekho showed action of a kando player, holding the mic as a makeshift sword. Aron then revealed that Baekho was really good in kando (a type of martial art) and said that he had played for 8 years. Lastly, Aron mentioned that it would be fun to act in a romantic comedy and he showed his action in a short scene with Baekho, acting like a couple.

As part of their 'Face to Face in Malaysia' event, a sports day had also been scheduled on Sunday, December 16. Right off the bat, Baekho confessed to being the one who is the best in sports in the group. According to JR, their boss did not allow them to exercise too much and they were not allowed to build muscles. The members then pointed out Ren and Minhyun as the ones who are not good in sports activities.

In the next part of the Q&A session, where the boys were asked to describe their group members in one word, Minhyun said that Ren is cute, which prompted the calls for "aegyo" from Ren and he complied with a cute 'buing buing'. Ren described JR as sexy and he was asked to do a sexy pose. Once again, he got shy while doing the action. JR said Baekho is simply Baekho, as the word "baekho" means "white tiger", showing his strong, manly side. Baekho said Aron is "smart" because he is very good in studies. Lastly, Aron said Minhyun is "tall and mysterious."

When asked about what fans can anticipate from their showcase later, Minhyun said they can expect the best from NU'EST while Ren said it will be unforgettable. JR said it will be a very NU'EST performance while Baekho said "it's a secret". Aron said the fans can expect a new side of NU'EST in the showcase. 

Wrapping up the press conference session, JR said "It's our second time here but our first time to do a solo performance and we wanted to come here again." Aron added, "Thank you to the fans for the support. It is definitely an honor and a pleasure to come here again to perform, and we will definitely come here again in the future, so please continue to support us."
