Robin Thick Paula Patton Divorce Finalized; ‘Blurred Lines’ Singer And ‘2 Guns’ Actress Split Property, Settle Custody Issues

The Robin Thicke and Paula Patton divorce was finalized. The 38-year-old the singer and the 39-year-old actress reportedly settled their differences over child custody and property issues.

"We will always love each other and be best friends; however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time," said the statement by the couple sent to media outlets. I'm doing really well. I mean, the honest truth is it has been challenging, but it's been a year of growth, lots of healing, learning about all new things, but I've come out of it stronger," Paula Patton said in a statement.

"My son's happy and I'm very-you know, I feel like everything happens for a reason. And then you have to move on and grow from there," Patton added.

Robin Thicke who recently lost a major copyright battle over his hit song "Blurred Lines" to the family of Motown legend Marvin Gaye. Robin Thicke and "Happy" singer Pharell Williams were ordered to pay the estate of Marvin Gaye $7.3 million for reportedly copying "Got to Give It Up " to make "Blurred Lines." Thicke and Williams plan to appeal the judgment.

Thicke and Paula Patton, divorced after nine years of marriage. Robin split from Paula in January 2014, amid rumors Robin was cheating.

TMZ reports Patton filed legal documents on Tuesday. The report says Patton and Thicke have reached an agreement on the division of property and custody of Julian, 4.

"The terms of the settlement are private. There's an indication from the legal docs Paula is getting primary custody, but it's not spelled out specifically. They've also agreed on the terms of spousal and child support," TMZ quoted from the report.

The Robin Thicke and Paula Patton divorce won't become final until April 14.
