2NE1's fierce leader CL showed off couture hanbok fashion in the March issue of W Korea. The star modeled stunning robes, colorful hanboks, layers of ribbons and menacing but beautiful coral material hairpins for a pictorial that was all about glitter and personality. To the delight of fans, W Korea revealed additional cuts from CL's unforgettable photoshoot!

In the new photos, CL mysteriously hid her face behind a mask, had ghostly replicas in a motion shot, and even wore golden butterfly clips in her hair. The new pictures continued the dark and ethereal princess theme.

During the accompanying interview, CL revealed why she requested the traditional theme. She explained, "Japanese and Chinese culture is mostly well known, but I believe the knowledge regarding Korea is a bit on the lacking side. Before my full-scale promotions in America, I wanted to make sure to leave behind a cool hanbok photo shoot."

CL recently topped the Time 100 annual online readers poll with 11.3% of the votes, beating the likes of international entertainers Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj.
