With her debut coming up, 2NE1's Lee "CL" Chaerin put her name into the stratosphere by performing alongside names like P. Diddy, Skrillex and Justin Bieber recently.

This past weekend, the annual Ultra Music Festival (UMF) took place in Miami, Florida. The event marked the first major music stage appearance for CL when she made a guest appearance during Skrillex's set Sunday night.

"CL staged a collaboration performance with Skrillex, Diplo and P. Diddy who stood on UMF's finale stage as headliners," read the record label YG Entertainment blog.

"As many as 100,000 people were present at the festival and more than 6.87 million viewers around the world watched it through live-broadcasting."

Skrillex and CL previously collaborated on the American DJ's single "Dirty Vibe," which also showcased CL's labelmate G-Dragon. Currently, CL is preparing for her American debut, and Skrillex as well as American producer Diplo will likely collaborate with the 23-year-old K-pop idol.

"I'm very happy about advancing into America and think I'm going to work a lot with Diplo," CL said at the 2014 Style Icon Awards, where she was accompanied by Diplo.

"Diplo is so cool and good-looking."

The timing seems just right for the 2NE1 rapper, as CL is currently leading the annual Time 100 reader's poll, taking a staggering 10.2% of the votes as of this writing. CL is currently ahead of Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Rihanna.

"I feel like it's all about good music at the end of the day," said CL to Complex magazine last month.

"It's not like I'm a rookie. I have been doing this for a long time in Asia. It's just a new market. I have to have good music, so I'm just focusing on that. There are so many Korean people here, and Chinese and Japanese, but they don't have one pop artist that they can look up to. That's kind of sad. I wish I could be that person for them to be proud of."
