Maria Sharapova has such a strong work ethic that it may be scaring her boyfriend Grigor DImitrov. After Billie Jean King praised the Russian player’s work ethic, Grigor Dimitrov went to Monaco to get into the mindset for the upcoming French Open 2015.

Maria Sharapova may have gone with him, but it’s unclear if, at the end, she chose to stay in Manhattan Beach instead of Monaco.

According to Sports Illustrated, Billie Jean King piled praises upon praises on the Russian player.

“Maria's work ethic has always been the same since she was four years old and she has continuously improved her game and added new elements to it,” he said. “She added variety, drop shots, got faster, became stronger. Clay has been a tough surface for Maria but she has been able to work on her weaknesses and turned them into strengths."

Maybe Billie Jean King has is sight on her for French Open 2015.

Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov flunked out of Miami Open pretty quickly, which means that they can come together in Manhattan Beach to start their training for French Open 2015. Seeing how Maria Sharapova has been in the game for longer, she is continuous source of inspiration for Grigor Dimitrov.

According to USA Today, “Two months ago, Maria Sharapova was playing for the Australian Open title against Serena Williams, which she lost, as usual when playing her arch-nemesis. Since then, Sharapova has played horrendously, though admittedly in only a handful of tournaments.”

The fans are hoping that the world number 2 will step up her game at French Open 2015.

Maria Sharapova and her boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov have been trying to dominate the tennis world together, but the games in beginning of 2015 has not been the kindest to them. However, the fact that Baby Fed is willing to work on his relationship as well as his career shows that the couple will have a long and fruitful partnership.

In a recent interview with Reuters, Maria Sharapova confirmed some details about her rivalry with Serena Williams.

“She’s at the peak of her career. I am now number two in the world,” she said. “I feel like we’re still driven and hungry to be the best tennis players. I don’t think anyone in the tennis world believed that, in 10 years’ time, we would still be rivals. I think it’s an incredible story.”

As most of her fans know, the rivalry between Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams hasn’t strictly been professional. They did once fight over Grigor Dimitrov as well!
