"Revenge" is not coming back next season and the series promises to end up with a bang based on the promo clip for the finale.

The clip suggests that Amanda and Jack will finally take things to another level in their relationship.

However, being that this is "Revenge," fans should not expect a happy ending.

The promo clip also gave away spoilers for "Revenge" series finale when it shows Amanda and Victoria squaring off for the last time. Amanda is in tears as she points a gun at Victoria. A shot rings out but it's not clear if it's Victoria or Amanda who pulls the trigger.

Of course, Madeleine Stowe already revealed that Victoria will die so fans can already deduce the outcome of this confrontation.

Then the scene flashes to Amanda kissing a badly injured Jack goodbye at the hospital.

"Someone has to pay," the voice of Amanda says.

But then fans can see Amanda lying on the floor bathing in a pool of blood, and she looks like she's dying. Could the four-year quest for revenge by the protagonist end up in her death?

"Revenge" was cancelled after four seasons, with the final episode set to air on May 10.

"ABC topper Paul Lee has been a big supporter of the show, calling it "a critical brand" for the network, so a proper sendoff was fully expected, providing closure for fans who have invested years in its mythology," Deadline said.

"The series is going full circle, with Amanda Clarke (Emily VanCamp) getting framed for a murder she didn't commit just like her father once was, triggering her quest for revenge," it added.

The cast, led by Emily VanCamp and Gabriel Mann, already said their goodbyes in their respective Twitter accounts, as rumors of a spinoff continue.
