EXO's second studio album is one of 2015's best-selling K-pop albums.

The album "Exodus," released in March, was the best-selling album in South Korea in April, according to numbers reported by the Gaon Chart. The album was released in both Korean and Chinese, and sold over 450,000 Korean copies as well as 275,000 Chinese copies.

"Exodus" is EXO's most popular album to date, selling nearly 730,000 albums in total during April alone.

The album was not only the best-selling album in April, but within hours of being released the album became the best-selling Korean album for the entire first quarter of 2015.

Along with becoming one of the fastest selling albums in South Korea, EXO's album appeared on iTunes' international album chart, appearing alongside internationally famous musicians like Taylor Swift.

Along with "Exodus" doing well with physical album sales, the title song "Call Me Baby" won multiple awards on Korean weekly music shows.

"Exodus" was the first album that the SM Entertainment idol group released since two former members left EXO in 2014, Kris (Wu Yi Fan) and Luhan. The idol group promoted "Call Me Baby" primarily with only eight members, due to an unconfirmed departure by member Tao and filming in China by member Lay.

The success is allegedly due in part to the fact that EXO's "Exodus" was released in twenty separate versions. Each of the group's ten members received his own version of the album in both Korean and Chinese, leading to multiple purchases by fans.

 Even though the album sold well, not all fans were happy with the multiple options.

"Buying 20 albums is ridiculous and foolish unless you're rich," wrote KpopStarz reader AyaniELF. "On Yesasia, 20 albums costs almost $225."
