The episode 24 synopsis reads: "'NCIS' season 12 ends with NCIS feverishly investigating a global terrorist group that is recruiting teens via the Internet, following a deadly bombing overseas that resulted in an emotional and surprising loss for the team."

As we previously reported, some fans may be heartbroken to see another favorite character leave the show, following the beloved character Ziva's exit when actress Cote de Pablo turned down offers to continue on "NCIS."

As we previously reported, Emily Wickersham, who plays Ellie Bishop, told FOX411: "We leave it as a cliffhanger and there will be more to come in the beginning of next season, especially after 'Neverland.' It will ramp up in the first few episodes of the next season, and it will be surprising."

"We lose someone who the team is really fond of," she teased. "I know a lot of fans really love this character. I think it will be quite a shock. So, there is motivation that comes with that death."
