NASCAR Vs IndyCar Lead To A Case About Domestic Violence; Who Were Involved?

The ongoing battle amongst fans as to which is better between NASCAR Vs IndyCar has been reported to have taken its toll after a case about domestic violence surfaced.

As reported by Indy Star, the Johnson County Sheriff's Office released a report that involves an altercation between a woman and her fiance named David Lee Wilson.

According to the report, the woman told the police that she along with her fiance have been drinking alcohol the whole day last Sunday. At one point, while she was situated in the kitchen preparing their dinner and listening to Indy 500, David started to ramble words, saying that NASCAR is so much better than IndyCar.

According to the report, David told the police that she overheard his fiancee dissing NASCAR in the kitchen. This allegedly lead to him rambling about why NASCAR is better than IndyCar.

After his rambling, he strangled his fiancee. The woman tried to call 911, but was later hung up by David himself, who asked her who she was trying to call. He got the phone from her and talked to the operator himself, saying "Everything is fine here."

Despite his deflecting tactic, police were convinced that something wrong was happening at their house. They still went over and eventually caught David to be brought to the precint.

Upon arrival, David explained his side of the story, denying any strangulation accusations. He said there was a confrontation but not a physical one.

As to whether he is set to be charged or not, we have yet to find out.
