Lee Jun Ki Is A Dangerous Playboy In Elle

Actor Lee Jun Ki, known for his roles in The King and the Clown and Iljimae, became a playboy with a dangerous edge for the June issue of Elle. The star posed with model Yi Hwa Eun in a pictorial filled with sophisticated suits and flirty moments. He gave the camera his best smoldering glare while hiding in layers of golden curtains and ignoring an exposed leg draped over his lap.

During the accompanying interview, the actor discussed his upcoming vampire role in the MBC drama The Scholar Who Walks The Night. He stated, "I was attracted to the script from the beginning because my image is very similar to that of the original character. Whenever I act, I always try to replicate the character from the original work."

Lee is known as one of the most hardworking actors in the entertainment industry and is noted for doing action scenes without a stunt double. He revealed that his passion for trying difficult projects comes from a need to prove himself in the eyes of his peers, fans and critics. He explained, "I received criticism that my face was not good for acting because it could only express a limited amount of emotions. As an actor, I felt that I had to prove myself."

The Scholar Who Walks The Night will begin airing on MBC in July every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:55 P.M. The drama will also star Lee Yoo Bi, Kim So Eun, and Lee Soo Hyuk.
