'Catch Me If You Can' Music Video Featuring Jessica Jung Leaked Online Before The Group's 8-Member Korean Comeback [VIDEO]

It's been over two months since "Catch Me If You Can" was released featuring the new lineup for Girls' Generation. However, another version featuring the departed Jessica Jung has now surfaced online.

On Monday, another Japanese version of the "Catch Me If You Can" music video appeared online, with Jessica still as a member of Girls' Generation. From this, observers confirmed the notion that Jung worked on the track prior to her departure last September.

"To those that are wondering, this was filmed before Sept. 30 and because [Jung's departure] happened before this song was released, SM Entertainment re-filmed the entire music video," commented YouTube user Battlehunger, who uploaded the music video online.

Speculation on this timeline first surfaced back in April, when a clip taken from OnStyle's 2014 miniseries "Jessica & Krystal" revealed a segment where Jung sang part of the chorus.

Last month, Jessica revealed her life after Girls' Generation in an interview with Marie Claire.

"If I were still a part of Girls' Generation, I wouldn't be able to participate in a photo shoot like today," said Jung according to allkpop. "Idol group members always have to be happy. Nice, pure and happy. But I'm already 27 and I can't always be that happy girl."

Meanwhile, it is heavily speculated that Girls' Generation is preparing for their first domestic Korean comeback since Jung's departure.

Reportedly, five of the eight remaining Girls' Generation members were sighted with new hairstyles last month, which typically indicates an impending comeback for an idol group.

Along with an expected June release from Girls' Generation, reports indicate that 2015 will feature a comeback from sub-unit TaeTiSeo (Kim Taeyeon, Tiffany Hwang and Seo Juhyun) as well as a solo debut from Taeyeon.
