"Saved by the Bell" star Dustin Diamond has previously been arrested, now he is sentenced to jail time. Specifically for four months after charges were filed when he allegedly stabbed a man during a bar fight last Christmas day in Wisconsin.

According to CNN, the 38-year-old apologized for his actions that caused him to get into jail. He apologized for the actions that he made during "a night that centers around celebrating peace and love." The source added that according to Diamond, the fight that took place was the "single most terrifying experience of my entire life." 

"I want it to be clear that this situation will be not repeated again," he said infront of Judge Paul Malloy, who was the one responsible for sentencing him to 120 days behind bars. Moreso, Malloy required Diamond to pay a restitution fee of more than $1,000. This was to "send a message to the community that we're just not going to live like this."

As previously reported, the fight happened at the Grand Avenue Saloon in Port Washington. The former "Saved by the Bell" star was with his girlfriend, Amanda Schutz. Dustin got arrested after a group of intoxicated men entered the bar and were mistaken to be initiating a fight as they were behaving rudely towards the other guests in the bar.

The official report, as cited by the source, stated that Dustin "turned to close his account and get their coats, but when he looked back, his girlfriend was bleeding and two men were holding her hair.

"Diamond said he moved toward his girlfriend when a man grabbed him," the report added. "Diamond said he might have stabbed the man with a pen used to sign a credit card receipt but later conceded he was armed with the knife."

"Diamond stated that he did not intentionally stab the individual in the bar but that chaos broke out and people were grabbing at him and that he swung his arms to break free," the report continued.
