Director For Big Bang's 'Sober' Revealed As The One Who Backed Out Of 2PM's Music Video

Scheduling conflicts is a common problem in the K-pop world as there are  so many groups from so many different labels constantly releasing music.

In fact, certain groups end up being forced to delay their debuts and comeback album releases, all to avoid competing with a group from the same label.

Recently, a scheduling issue forced JYP Entertainment group 2PM to delay their comeback after the director for their music video, Han Sa Min, backed out of the job just four days before they were to shoot. Now it has been revealed that Han seemingly left 2PM in order to film Big Bang's latest music video, "Sober."

Earlier when Han Sa Min first announced his departure from the 2PM music video, he claimed it was due to a personal relationship with another group.

"Due to my personal relationship with an artist making a release at the same time I cannot shoot their music video," said Han (via Koreaboo).

According to a report from Koreaboo, that artist is now revealed to be Big Bang as Han is credited as the director for their "Sober" music video on Han's official website and his official Vimeo page.

Although Han Sa Min nor YG Entertainment have officially confirmed Big Bang to be the reason for his exit, JYP Entertainment is seeking legal action against the director. Additionally, JYP is also seeking legal action against another production company for dropping out of GOT7's music video shoot.

"We plan to take severe legal action against the irresponsible actions of the two production companies and the damages they have caused. We apologized to the fans because we know how much you have been all waiting. We will do our best to never let something like this happen again," said a JYP Representative.

While scheduling continues to be a problem during this jam-packed-with-comebacks summer, sadly it looks like some groups will be forced to delay.
