miss A member and popular actress Suzy has flown off to Rome, Italy to attend a couple of high-profile Valentino events.

She is scheduled to grace the opening of Valentino's Rome flagship store and also watch the Valentino 2015 Fall/Winter Haute Couture Collection fashion show titled "Mirabilia Romae," reports The Korea Herald.

Suzy was spotted leaving South Korea via Incheon airport.

Suzy flies off to Rome amid a brewing controversy over being offered the lead female role in the drama adaptation of the popular webtoon Cheese in the Trap. Critical fans have been vocal about Suzy's fit in the role, and the idol's agency JYP Entertainment says she will be announcing her decision next week after finishing her event commitments.

The miss A singer has also just finished filming for period drama "The Hymn" in which she plays the lead role of Jin Chae Sun, the first female singer in the Joseon era. 

Suzy follows in the footsteps of Big Bang leader G-Dragon in attending the haute couture shows in Europe.

For his part, G-Dragon flew off to Paris to attend the Chanel haute couture show where he served as one of the muses along with A-list Hollywood celebrities like Kristen Stewart and Julianne Moore.

Suzy and the rest of miss A also recently celebrated their 5th anniversary since debuting as a group, thanking fans for sending an array of gifts.
