IU makes a cute mistake of confusing names of the music programs

By Jenny Chang | January 06, 2012 04:26 PM EST

IU made a cute mistake of calling 'Music Bank' 'Popular Music'.

On the January 6th broadcast of KBS 'Music Bank', IU received the trophy she couldn't receive last week due to end of the year awards.

IU, after a short thank you message, congratulated the new MCs Lee Jang Woo and Uee. But instead of saying 'Congratulations on becoming 'Music Bank' MCs', she stated "Congratulations on becoming Popular Music MCs", making the two laugh. The mistake seems to have happened because IU is currently the MC for 'Popular Music'.

IU just went on as if nothing happened, but Uee and Jang Woo looked a little bit panicked, drawing attention.
