Jay Z's wife Beyonce is allegedly jealous of Calvin Harris' girlfriend Taylor Swift for usurping her crown as one of music industry's most powerful female performers and highest earners.

According to the latest issue of OK! Magazine, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have become the new power couple.

"Taylor's new relationship with Calvin Harris has certainly increased her influence, and not to mention her monetary value! According to Forbes, the two are ranked the world's highest-paid celebrity couple with a combined annual earning of $146 million," it said.

For all their clout, Beyonce and Jay Z only came in second after earning $110.5 million.

"And friends say Bey's 'furious' about being ousted from the top spot and 'firmly blames Jay Z,'" the article claimed.

The source added, "Beyonce and Jay's whole circle have never thought much of Taylor as an artist, which somewhat prompted Kanye's stupidity at the 2009 VMAs, so this has come as a real shock."

"She's really worried. Ever since the elevator attack, she and Jay have battled hard to recoup their losses," the article went on to add in explaining Beyonce's alleged jealousy over Taylor Swift's success.

If true, the jealousy is unwarranted as Taylor Swift is one of Beyonce's biggest fans.

In a previous interview with KissFM UK, Calvin Harris' girlfriend said, "I love Beyonce more than... It's like, normal for everyone to love Beyonce, but I love her more than that amount, like more than the normal amount."

The New York Post, meanwhile, claimed that it's time to crown Calvin Harris' girlfriend Taylor Swift as the new pop princess replacing Beyonce.

"While Beyoncé is spending her time hawking a vegan nutrition plan like a regular Bethenny Frankel, Swift is actually making moves in the music industry, calling out Apple to rethink the three-month Apple Music free trial that danced around paying artists," it said.

"And guess what? The $700 billion tech company listened, knowing that 'bad blood' with Swift meant 'bad blood' with millennials and artists alike."
