Minka Kelly Hits Media For Blowing Up Sean Penn Dating Rumors, Insists They Are Just Friends!
Minka Kelly just spoke up on the recent rumors that she was dating Sean Penn.
In a post on social media as reported by People, she made a jibe against the media for the spread of the gossip using the hashtag "silly media."
"Not my nature to address gossip but hoping this last one goes away already," she posted.
"Not dating a friend I had a group dinner with," she also wrote.
According to a report on the Inquisitr, this is the first time that Kelly has addressed rumors on whom she has been dating or not. They cited that when she was rumored to be dating Derek Jeter and Chris Evans, she just kept mum about it. Rumors that Minka Kelly and Sean Penn were dating broke out last June when the Oscar-winning actor was seen attending the "Almost Human" alum's recent birthday dinner. As reported by TMZ, Kelly and Penn were sighted together in Napa Valley for the actress' birthday along with other friends. The group apparently feasted on chicken, mac and cheese and cake. Penn reportedly paid for the "pricey" dinner, according to TMZ.
Kelly even tweeted a picture of the said Napa Valley birthday celebration minus Penn in the picture. "Birthday festivities off to a pretty magical start," she wrote back then.
