New rumors are suggesting that the iPad Air 3 will not have a 2015 release date. This is attributed to the fact that Foxconn has not received orders for the phone's manufacturing from Apple. 

Earlier reports, however, suggested that a rumored October release date for the iPad Air 3 may coincide with a price drop for Apple's current flagship tablet, the iPad Air 2. 

Although an official launch date is yet to be announced, release date specs for the iPad Air 3 have been leaked---the new tablet is alleged to include a 6.1 mm thin body and a 9.7 inch display. 

It is also said to include 2GB of RAM and an A9 processor. 

For now, avid tablet users remain fixed on accessories, such as cases, for the iPad Air 2. 

"...the real opportunity is to bring mobility into the enterprises and change how people work," Apple CEO Tim Cook said during a recent earnings call, Business Insider reports.

The company revealed a split-screen version of iOS 9 earlier this year. It includes multitask functions that grant users the two-pane display. 

The Typo, an iPad Air 2 case, is highly anticipated for its successor phone. Its keyboard connectivity feature was recently released by developers, who announced that the device includes an integrated auto-correct function.
