See Kobe Bryant On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live': Lakers Star Gives Thoughts On Dennis Rodman [VIDEO]

Thursday night, as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kobe Bryant talked about Dennis Rodman's recent trip to North Korea.

Bryant, the shooting gaurd for five-time NBA champions the Los Angeles Lakers, appeared on the talk-show and conversed about the current missile crisis between the United States and North Korea.

Since it is a comedy show, they focused on Dennis Rodman's recent trip to North Korea.

Rodman met the supreme leader of North Korea, Kim Jong while in North Korea shooting an HBO documentary for media company VICE.

The Washington Post reported that Rodman said Kim was "his friend." Rodman then suggested that President Barack Obama "pick up the phone and call" the supreme leader of North Korea, since the two are basketball fans.

"You know it's a crazy world," Bryant said. "I mean, our President is a Chicago Bulls fan. Dennis obviously has great history with that and North Korea. I mean, I think we are all just as shocked as everybody is here about that, but it's a weird world."

Kimmel went on to ask Bryant if Kim Jong reached out to him. "No, I haven't heard anything yet," Bryant said.

When asked if the Laker would ever accept an invitation to visit, Bryant said,"Yeah, I would probably pass, I'd probably pass."

"Oh, for once you are passing!" Kimmel replied.

Bryant laughed and applauded Kimmel for the joke.

The former regular-season MVP has been trending lately as his Los Angeles Lakers are making a surge to get into the NBA playoffs.

He recently tweeted out that his new nickname is "Vino." He said a friend gave him the nickname, which is wine. The friend is referring to Kobe getting better with time, like wine.
