Michael Fassbender may be neglecting his girlfriend Alicia Vikander as he is working on various film projects like “Macbeth”, “Steve Jobs” and “Assassins’ Creed”.

The 26-year-old Swedish actress confessed that she works hard to keep herself from feeling too lonely.

According to Belfast Telegraph, Alicia Vikander said, "I’ve been trying to do good work in a language that isn’t my own. I guess that does make me determined, but it’s in my nature to want to do the best that I can. It also makes me feel safe, in a funny way, if I’m working hard; less lonely, somehow.”

She added: "I suffer from a constant anxiety that what's happening to me isn't going to last forever," she sighed.

This became more obvious when Alicia Vikander skipped out on making “Assassin's’ Creed” with Michael Fassbender. Instead, she opted for “Bourne 5”.

According to Daily Mail, “Alicia Vikander has been recruited for the next movie in the Jason Bourne saga opposite Matt Damon, according to Deadline.com. But the tight filming schedule has forced the 26-year-old to drop out of director Justin Kurzel’s Assassins Creed, opposite her beau Michael Fassbender.”

According to Irish Independent, Alicia Vikander had no shame admitting that she wants to get more famous.

"Next year, the Oscars will be interesting," ‘Ex Machina’ actress said. "If all goes well, I’m going to have three films in contention. I’ve had many years of working a lot without being in the public eye. And that’s been good.

"By this time next year, I think things are going to change.” She confessed. “I expect to be busy. I’m ready to be a bit more known.”

Seeing how ‘Ex Machina’ actress is now becoming a heavily sought-after actress in Hollywood, Michael Fassbender may have to work a little harder to keep her around.
