The first full week of August saw a lot of musical releases, but was, overall, a pretty quiet week on Instagram for many of K-pop's biggest stars.

Instagram itself this week saw some excitement. Up-and-coming girl group Mamamoo opened their official Instagram in honor of their most recent fanmeet, and the four members uploaded pictures featuring a pair of members to introduce the account. Big Bang's Taeyang celebrated 3 million followers with a screenshot of his Instagram account.

From idols, 2NE1's Dara and CL were pretty busy. Dara was spending time in the Philippines and uplaoded multiple photos from her trip, while CL took a picture with Katy Perry and designer Jeremy Scott.

f(x)'s Victoria uploaded a picture of a new tattoo of her name on her arm.

Super Junior reunited with Sunye, the former leader of Wonder Girls, and her child back stage, supporting Wonder Girls as they kicked off their comeback with a performance of "I Feel You."
