Katy Perry and John Meyer have officially broken up again. Although officials reasons for their split have not been announced by the on-again, off-again couple, new information provides hints as to why they broke up and how they reacted. 

Katy Perry and John Meyer have broken up in the past due to differences related to "distance" and "trust issues," a source told E! News. The insider, however, did not comment on specific reasons for why they split this time around. 

Earlier reports suggested that Katy Perry and John Meyer got back together following their March breakup. The two were spotted spending their Fourth of July holiday together at the Grateful Deadconcert in Chicago. 

Katy Perry and John Meyer were also spotted "leaning in for many passionate kisses" and standing very close to one another at the 2015 Met Gala after party earlier this year. "They seemed very comfortable together and kissed several times," a source said, according to the Inquisitr.
