will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and 2NE1 have always been known to have a close relationship.  In February 2012, will.i.am and 2NE1 worked on a track for the Intel Ultrabook campaign.  It was then reported that the Black Eyed Peas singer was doing a world tour wherein he will record a song in each of the countries he will visit.  will.i.am is currenty Intel's Director of Creative Innovation.

Last week, first releasing in Japan and Mexico was the song that 2NE1 and will.i.am collaborated on, it was then released also in Korea.  The song is titled "We'll Take the World On" and is free to download on Intel's website for a limited time (i.e. ten days after first release).  The Intel website also features videos of will.i.am's visit to Seoul, where he met with 2NE1, Teddy Park, and was able to experience the city enough to call it Asia's new voice.  The rapper-singer's world tour also took him to London, Sydney, Mexico and Tokyo.

The collaborative track with 2NE1 is an electronic hiphop love song boasting 2NE1's signature sound. Intel's marketing notes around the song states that it was done in only 2 days, and were completed using Intel ultrabooks via cloud or virtual collaboration.

Not only does the collaboration prove 2NE1's friendship with will.i.am, it also shows the girls of 2NE1 as brand ambassadors for global brands like Intel.  It has been rumored that 2NE1 has been spending some time in the studio these days recording their English album, in preparation for their debut in the United States.  Their track with will.i.am shows how ready 2NE1 is to take the world on, as the song's title hints.
