Former CSJH The Grace Member Stephanie On Her Solo Comeback And Her Previous Agency SM Entertainment

Former CSJH The Grace member Stephanie (Kim Bo Kyung) is back with a brand new single and held a performance showcase to kick of promotions on Aug. 11.

A day prior to the release of her new solo single "Prisoner," Stephanie performed for a group of excited fans at the Rolling Hall in Seoul, South Korea. During the interview section, Stephanie was candid as she talked about her previous agency, SM Entertainment, and the support she is receiving from her former band mates.

"I’m still on good terms with SM Entertainment," said Stephanie, as reported by Soompi"I realized how difficult working in entertainment industry is through my experience."

Stephanie debuted with four-member girl group CSJH The Grace in 2005, and the members went their own ways five years later. In 2014, the singer had signed with her new record label, Mafia Records, after parting ways with SM Entertainment.

Despite the split, Stephanie says she remains close to her former group mates Lina, Dana, and Sunday, and revealed they have all been supportive of her solo promotions.

"The Grace members are rooting for me via SNS. I’m grateful to Lina especially for sending me an article written about my comeback," said Stephanie at the showcase.

Stephanie released "Prisoner" after a three-year hiatus. Her first solo release was the 2012 single album The New Beginning which was led by the title track "Game."
