Get To Know ASTRO, K-Pop's Newest Boy Band

South Korean management company Fantagio's newest boy group ASTRO is officially preparing for their debut!

On August 14 Fantagio released information about the new group via their social media, including pictures and profiles of each member and the announcement of the group's name. "'Astro means 'star' in Spanish, so the group was named that so they can be stars to those who love them," Fantagio explained according to a report by Sports World.

ASTRO has six members. Leader Jinjin is the rapper of the group and is said to have extraordinary beatboxing and drum skills. MJ, the oldest, is said to have overflowing charisma is the mood maker of the team. Member Rocky is said to be a triple threat since he has been a dancer since age five but also has strong rap and singing skills. Cha Eunwoon is reported to have outstanding visuals, making him a stand out both in the group and from other idols. The youngest member, Yoon Sanha, is the vocal of the group with an unpredictable and cute charm. Finally, fans will recognized member Moon Bin as mini Yunho from TVXQ's "Balloons" music video, as well as little Kim Bum from the drama Boys Over Flowers.

Fantagio is home to other popular groups like Hello Venus and 5urprise. Like actor-idol 5urprise, who debuted through acting before singing, ASTRO will be making their debut through the web drama To Be Continued. To Be Continued will begin airing on August 18 through Naver TV Cast.
