The recent reunion of Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey, Jr. has gotten fans of Pepper Potts and Tony Stark reeling. Some hope it was a sign they would be working together again onscreen like the much awaited "Iron Man 4."
As reported by E! Online, Paltrow and Downey headed to the beach over the weekend and took to social media to share their day.
The duo took a selfie on a backdrop of dinner preparations. The Oscar winning actress was sans makeup and was wearing a white top while Downey completed his beach ensemble with a hat and shades.

"@robertdowneyjr how I love thee," Paltrow captioned on their picture posted on Instagram. Gwyneth Paltrow even used the hashtag "pepperony" for her and Robert Downey, Jr.'s reunion in reference to their "Iron Man" characters.
Both actors seemed to be missing their onscreen characters and tandem. Just last week, as People reported, Downey also took to social media and made reference to their characters.

"Hopefully Pepper won't get jealous of salt," he wrote on an artwork of "Iron Man" and Tony Stark using salt and pepper.
Some fans couldn't help but rave over the picture and hope they would reunite as well onscreen like the much anticipated "Iron Man 4."
Up to now, there is no word yet if the fourth movie of the franchise would be happening anytime soon. Marvel is currently working on its other superheroes including Captain America.
Last year, in an interview with Variety, Downey said there are no concrete plans yet for "Iron Man 4."
"There isn't one in the pipe," he said. "No, there's no plan for a fourth 'Iron Man.'"
A month later though, he sat with Ellen Degeneres and said talks were still underway when was asked about the possibility of another "Iron Man" movie.
"I know there's gonna be a bunch more marvel movies and they have big ideas on how to do it best. We're in the middle of negotiations," he started.
"Okay, yes," he answered when pressed further.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey, Jr., last worked together on "Iron Man" in 2013.
