Crayon Pop Members Unharmed After Van They Were Traveling In Collides With Bus

The five members of K-pop girl group Crayon Pop were unhurt in a minor car accident on Thursday.

Around 6 PM on August 20, Crayon Pop's van was rear-ended by a bus while the group was traveling in the South Korean city of Seosan. The members and driver were taken immediately to a hospital and treated to minor injuries.

Crayon Pop's company, Chrome Entertainment, said that the Crayon Pop members received only minor scrapes and bruises.

None of the passengers on the bus were hurt.

Chrome Entertainment later stated, "Thankfully, none of the members' injuries are serious, so they have returned home."

Minor car accidents are common in South Korea, but several high profile celebrity car accidents have scarred the Korean music industry. In September of last year, two members of the the girl group Ladies' Code lost their lives after their van was speeding during a rainstorm. The surviving members of Ladies' Code will hold a memorial concert for deceased members EunB and RiSe on August 22 in Tokyo.

Crayon Pop is a five member K-pop girl group that debuted in 2012. The girls rose to fame after the success of their 2013 hit, "Bar Bar Bar" and have gained a loyal fanbase and much acclaim for their retro-inspired concepts. They released "Ra Ri Ru Re" in Japan on July 22.
