The highly public divorce between Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert is still making the waves on the internet, as a new name gets dragged into the picture.

According to rumors, Chris Young, who is also a country singer, is being involved in the drama between the two exes. The rumor points to Young getting in between the former couple, allegedly causing the break up between them.

While the rumor seems to be true to some fans, Young has quickly addressed this issue and released a statement about it. 

According to an article published by Entertainment Tonight, the youtube star has revealed that getting dragged into the story has become a great nuisance to him and to the people involved.

"Man it sucks that I got put in this situation with two people who are my friends," Young said, as quoted by the soirce cited above. "It's just so weird getting pulled into something like that where it just wasn't true."

Moreso, Young also added that despite their public divorce, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are both moving on and doing well on their own. He said that he was able to personally speak with the two and have been getting updates from their separate lives regularly.

"I have not seen them, [but] I've definitely texted and called both of them," the singer said. "They're both good since [the last] time I've heard from them. As good as you can be."

"I was in touch with Blake all day that day," Young added, pertaining to addressing the rumors that he allegedly went in between the relationship. "He was like, 'Dude, sorry.' I was like, 'I know man.'"

"They're both really great friends still, so it's just one of those things," Chris Young further continued, dismissing rumors that he is not in good terms with any of the two. "That's kind of a byproduct of doing this and being in the spotlight I guess."
