DMTN's Daniel Spurs Hope Of Group's Return Following Drug Charges And 2-Year Hiatus

Two years after going on hiatus, fans of DMTN may be able to look forward to a something new from the group.

On September 2, Daniel "Drama" Chae celebrated DMTN's fifth anniversary, and implied that fans would be seeing activity from the group in the near future. The members of DMTN have promoted individually since the group went on hiatus following drug selling and using charges against Daniel.

Daniel shared a video on Instagram of DMTN's anniversary cake and said that the group will show "love" towards the fans, months after mentioning a potential DMTN comeback.

"Thank you guys for all the love and support," wrote Daniel. "You guys are the best. We'll be returning that love shortly."

In June, Daniel previously addressed DMTN's status and the group's potential comeback.

"When Dari, Trap, Kixs, DayDay, Inati, Simon, or I put out a single or an EP it's still considered a DMTN comeback," he reportedly wrote. "We will be collating and coming together to put out an official comeback song but till then please continue to support each member individually!"

DMTN debuted as Dalmation in 2010, and was revamped as DTMN in 2012 after changing companies. Following drug-related charges against Daniel, the group went on hiatus.

Several members of the group have worked together during their hiatus, including a recent song by Jakop (previously known as Simon), Day Day, and After School's Raina. Dari, Kixs (Jeesu), and Trap (Donglim) have all released solo music. Many of the members have also been involved in music production.

Other members of DMTN also shared similar videos and pictures, showing their close ties despite the lengthy hiatus and confirming that the group is still united five years since their debut.
