Singer-Songwriter Younha Releases New EP 'View' In Japan

Five years since her last Japanese full-length album, singer-songwriter Younha (Go Younha) released her new Japanese EP.

Younha's self-composed album, "View," was released on Wednesday, and is filled with songs encouraging young people to achieve their dreams even during the hard times.It is Younha's first album since the 2010 studio album "Under The Same Sky."

The singer will promote "View" in Japan throughout September, beginning with a performance in Shibuya, Tokyo, on Sept. 13.

The South Korean soft rock musician first debuted in Japan with the song "Yuribiki (Promise)" in 2004, making her way in the Japanese music scene prior to becoming one of South Korea's most celebrated young singer-songwriters. She debuted in South Korea in 2007.

Since entering the Asian music scene, Younha has released more than thirty singles in both Korean and Japanese, and collaborated with multiple Korean artists, including Epik High, SHINee's Jonghyun Jung Joon Young, Toy, Wheesung, and more. Songs by Younha have also been featured on several Korean dramas.

Along with releasing "View," September introduces Younha to the starring role in the Korean musical production of "Cinderella," beginning on Sept. 16.
