Patrick Dempsey Showing Off Ellen Pompeo He's Fine Not Being Part Of 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 12?

"Grey's Anatomy" stars Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo have been rumored to be feuding on the set of the hit TV series.

And the actress seemingly addressed the rumor in an interview as she said that she could very well handle the burden of leading a show all by herself.

"Let's keep it really real for a second and say this is really difficult for my ego," Ellen Pompeo said. "It's like, Annalise Keating carries the show, Olivia Pope carries the show but somehow, Meredith Grey needs someone. Why can't I just be the lead of the show the way Annalise and Olivia can? Why can't I be on that poster by myself?"

It's widely reported that Patrick Dempsey's exit from "Grey's Anatomy" was because of his conflict with his co-stars as he has allegedly become quite a diva. Then he got on the bad side of Shonda Rhimes who wrote a way out for McDreamy.

But Patrick Dempsey seemed to have thrown it on the face of both Ellen Pompeo and Shonda Rhimes that his career would thrive without "Grey's Anatomy."

In fact, the actor is filming "Bridget Jones' Baby."

"Production has begun on the sequel, which will see Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth return to the series," said Digital Spy.

McDreamy also posted on his Facebook a photo of him on the set leaning against a green umbrella and smiling for the camera.

He wrote, "Nice to be working in England. Renee and Colin are an absolute joy to work with! A good couple of days rehearsing at Pinewood Studios. I really like it here!"

While he didn't address the alleged rumors, Patrick Dempsey said that his exit from "Grey's Anatomy" was the right time.

"It was just a natural progression with the way the story was unfolding. It was like, Okay! This was obviously the right time," he told EW.
