‘Fashion Police’ Producer Slams Kathy Griffin, Reveals Former Cast Member’s Offcam Attitude

A "Fashion Police" producer slammed Kathy Griffin and revealed the former cast member's offcam attitude.

According to a report from Radar Online, senior producer and writer Tony Tripoli shared details of the 40-year-old's brief stint on the hit fashion critique show. He and the comedienne were reportedly former friends, and he even appeared on several episodes of the redhead's reality show "Life On The D List."

However, Tony Tripoli said that things changed for the worse when "Fashion Police" got Kathy Griffin to replace late comedy icon Joan Rivers.

"When they brought Kathy on for fashion police, obviously Kathy didn't want me to work there anymore," he said.

"So as the new star of the show, she was like 'he's fired.' Everyone at Fashion Police was very sad to see me go."

"Fashion Police" eventually let go of Kathy Griffin after just 10 episodes. When she and former mainstay Kelly Osbourne unexpectedly resigned, Tony Tripoli pointed out the outspoken comic's unprofessional attitude.

"Surprise, surprise she quit by Twitter... Which is why she's worked so much on TV since," he scoffed.

"Kathy Griffin is not the only famous person in Hollywood that's a complete c*nt. There's a lot of really famous people that are despicable, disgusting, horrible human beings - she just is one of them."

Aside from Tony Tripoli, New York Daily News  reported that Melissa Rivers got disappointed at Kathy Griffin for quitting "Fashion Police." The only daughter of Joan Rivers also blasted the former family friend for the negative things that she said about the show.

"I'm just going to say it wasn't a match on a lot of levels," the 47-year-old said about getting her mother's alleged protégé as "Fashion Police" host.

"My biggest complaint was the feeling that she kind of s--- all over my mother's legacy in her statement on leaving. I know that that was not an intentional reading of it, but that's how I felt."

"I understand what you're doing. You're trying to save yourself, but don't crap all over my mother to do it. 'Fashion Police' was this little jewel, and it was the last piece I had of my mother and I working together," Melissa Rivers pointed out.
