Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston "miscalculated" the whole secrecy in planning their wedding.

And the result was hilarious.

During an interview with The Ellen DeGeneres Show, as share dby E! News, "The Leftovers" actor admitted that the wedding "was actually a massive miscalculation."

"W e thought, like, we're gonna to tell some people this and some people that and then people that really have to that have busy schedules and whatever," he said.

"So then afterwards, we kind of realized, like, that was a terrible plan, because you're basically telling half your guests, 'You're unemployed and we can't trust you,' which was of course not the case."

Because there was no dress code, some people showed up at the wedding ceremony in casual getup.

"There were people there who were just in jeans," Justin Theroux added. "We also have friends who, when we've done barbecues and stuff, show up, like, dressed to the nines, like, 'This is the thing, right?' And we're like, 'No, this is actually just a barbecue.'"

Ellen DeGeneres claimed in a previous interview that she was surprised that Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston managed to keep their wedding a secret for a long time. Nevertheless, she enjoyed her time at the ceremony and reception.

"All of it was amazing. Jimmy Kimmel was hilarious and Sia sang and that was fantastic. It was just a fun night. It was a beautiful night," she said. "I love them both and they're both great people and deserve the happiness."

One advantage of the wedding that Justin Theroux is already used to is now he can call Jennifer Aniston his wife, instead of girlfriend or fiancee.

"The first couple days of doing it, it's a great feeling.'Fiancée, after a while, sounds cute at first...then, you get to say, 'My wife,'" he added.
