Holly Madison Explains Her Baby’s Unique Name, Slams Other Parents For Being Judgemental

Holly Madison explained her baby's unique name. In a report from Yahoo Parenting, the first-time mom also slammed other parents for being judgemental because of her past as a Playboy Playmate.

The 35-year-old ex-girlfriend of pornography mogul Hugh Hefner recently released her tell-all book "Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures And Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny." The former sexy model said that she wrote the explosive memoir after being inspired by two-year-old Rainbow Aurora Rotella, her daughter with businessman Pasquale Rotella.

Holly Madison shared how her baby's unusual name was made fun of in social media. "Oh, yeah. I got flooded with stupid commentary on social media," she shrugged.

"It's definitely a unique name. I like unique names and I wouldn't have picked it if were common."

The blond stunner said she doesn't really consider Rainbow as an unusual name. "Growing up, there was a girl in my class named Rainbow," she shared.

"I grew up in Oregon, where a lot of hippies went to start families. There was a girl at school named Rainbow, and I was so jealous and I wanted it to be my name. So it's definitely unusual, but it's a name."

Holly Madison also knows that her baby's name has been criticized by many as a "stripper name." The feisty reality star was quick to shut down haters who have been very harsh on her being the ex-girlfriend of Hugh Hefner.

"People love to say, 'That's a stripper name,'" she scoffed.

"I've spent a lot of time in Vegas and strippers aren't named Rainbow. They're named Amber, Crystal and Jessica."

According to a previous report from In Touch Weekly, Holly Madison said she wants her baby to eventually understand her past as a Playboy Playmate. This is said to be the reason why she came out with her tell-all book.

"One of the reasons I wrote the book is if anything ever happened to me, my daughter - when she's old enough to know - can know about the decisions I made and can learn from my mistakes," she explained.

Even though "Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures And Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny" fared well in best-seller lists, former Playboy colleagues and some fans have slammed Holly Madison for the book. Some claim that the former "Girls Next Door" star only wants to avenge since Hugh Hefner did not marry her after they were together for seven years.

"I don't really care," Holly Madison said about haters.

"I didn't write the book to get a reaction, I wanted to share my story with the people I thought could benefit from it."
