Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin proudly showed off their growing baby bump as they made their first official red carpet appearance as a couple for a New York City event.

According to E! Online, the pair attended that "Act in Paris, A Night Of Comedy and Climate Action" event. The report said this was their "first joint celebrity appearance" since coming out about dating and their baby in September.

Onlookers at the event said the pair were not shy about their relationship anymore as reported by Entertainment Tonight. The "Gotham" actor was told to have been a gentleman the whole night as he assisted the mommy-to-be. They also reportedly held hands as they showed off their growing baby bump.

While it seemed all okay for Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin as they posed for the cameras during the event, People magazine reported just days earlier that the "Gotham" pair faced a high-risk pregnancy.

"Her obstetrician gynecologist avers it is a high risk pregnancy and advises against extensive air travel," the court document that the source above got stated.

In the same court documents, it was also mentioned that the "Gotham" actress got her ex, Austin Chick, an apartment in New York so they could co-parent their son despite the end of their marriage but Chick junked plans to co-parent when the Jim Gordon actor came into the scene.

"Apparently he changed his mind and returned to Los Angeles with the child when he learned that [Baccarin] had a new boyfriend," the court papers revealed as cited by the magazine. 

This is not the first time that Austin Chick reportedly has been affected by Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin's new romance. In September, TMZ claimed that the writer/producer allegedly accused McKenzie and Morena of cheating as soon as he found out how far along the actress was in her pregnancy.

"This places the moment of conception right in the first week of June, 2015, the time she was telling me she wanted to work on our marriage and well before we stopped sharing a bed," Austin Chick apparently said in the documents that TMZ obtained.
