Vanilla Ice Goes Amish Is A Real TV Show Debuting At The DIY Network, Rapper Learns To Construction

Vanilla Ice goes Amish is not only happening today, but it’s actually a title of a reality show that will debut on the DIY television network. The tv station is proving to be a home for rappers turned renovators.

Their new show, “Vanilla Ice Goes Amish”, will start on the network this year. According to network executive, Burton Jablin, show will feature the former rap star living in an Amish community in Ohio. He will learn how they do construction. Vanilla Ice already has a renovation series on the network that will return for its fourth season this fall.

These two shows has not only been Vanilla Ice’s exposure to the world of reality television. Entertainment Weekly reports that Ice has also appeared on the second season of humiliation factory, The Surreal Life, as well as competitions including Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge, Dancing on Ice, Celebrity Boxing, and The Surreal Life: Fame Games. Not to mention, Vanilla Ice was also a judge on Canada Sings in 2011.

DIY is also hosting other rappers aside from Ice. They include Reverend Run of Run DMC who will have a series next year where he stars with his wife and three children. The network will also feature Daryl Hall next year as he renovates a farmhouse in Connecticut.
