"Twenty-Three" singer IU (Lee Ji Eun) was chosen by the magazine GQ as the 2015 Woman of the Year.

To celebrate, the star had a casual pictorial where she modeled a black rider jacket, crop tops, short-shorts and oversized jeans by brands like Calvin Klein and American Apparel.

During the interview, IU was asked to describe the sense of self she has developed in her early twenties. She responded, "Every time I get this question, I seem to answer it differently. To me, I'm no different from any other person. There's nothing special about me. I'm not someone who holds steadfast to my values or beliefs in life. Depending on the situation, in the turn of a hand, I'm the kind of person to turn everything inside out. It's hard to describe myself in a word. Since I might change in the next minute. Yes, I'm this sort of person."

When asked if she has seen any changes in her acting throughout the years, she explained, "That's not something I feel while watching my recent dramas, rather, only when I look back at those that I acted in previously. Then, I think to myself, 'Wow, I was really inexperienced back then.'"

She added, "For The Producers, I acted quite naturally because the drama was based largely on my own life. There weren't any emotions that were totally foreign to me and there were parts that I said, 'Oh, I felt that way too.' So it was interesting that there were many parts that I could identify with. It also felt great that I received a lot of compliments [for my acting]. I was really happy."
