Johnny Depp's wife Amber Heard recently opened up how it has been a challenge taking on "substantial" film projects in Hollywood due apparently to the fact that she's "too sexy." One report claimed thought that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor's ex-partner Vanessa Paradis may disagree with Mrs. Depp.

In a cover story for the December issue of Marie Claire UK, the "Magic Mike XXL" actress said that her looks has become detrimental to her career at certain times.

​"I wish I didn't have to pick between being seen as sexually viable and something more substantial," she told the source above. 

As told in an item on Celeb Dirty Laundry, the Lily-Rose Depp's mom may purportedly be raising an eyebrow about the "Magic Mike XXL" actress' complain about her film career making some wonder if both women were fighting again. The gossip item even compared Paradis and Heard citing that while the French actress also oozes sex appeal, she still was able to reportedly bag some great project and manage to even win various recognitions for her portrayal.

It has been rumored before that Johnny Depp's wife Amber Heard has always been jealous of Vanessa Paradis' shadow and that may be due not only to the French star's career but also her history with the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor.

Back in September, reports even surfaced that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor sold his yacht because of said apparently jealousy.

"Johnny loved that yacht," a source of Us Weekly shared. "But he bought it for Vanessa. And Amber is still jealous of her."

While no one from the involved personalities have addressed the rumor, Johnny Depp's wife Amber shouldn't be jealous anymore about Vanessa Paradis though as she was all that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor had been talking about lately.

"She's very, very literate," Depp revealed about his wife to People magazine a few days ago. "She's a voracious reader as I have been so we connected on that level as well. And she's kind of brilliant." 

"I'm a lucky man," he further said.
