The Flash Will Appear In 'Batman V Superman' According To Costume Designer Michael Wilkinson

"Batman V Superman" costume designer Michael Wilkinson confirms that The Flash will appear in the upcoming crossover film.

Wilkinson sat down with Omelete and confirmed The Flash rumors appearing in "Batman V Superman," also touching on how he adapts comic book superhero costumes for the big screen.

"I'm not really at the liberty to talk about The Flash right now, but it's something that you'll be seeing in the future in our films. You do get a glimpse of him, of course, in 'Batman V Superman,'" Wilkinson revealed. "But I'm really looking forward to taking the amazing, iconic costume for The Flash and interpreting it in a fresh way where Ezra Miller is playing The Flash. He's an extraordinary performer, he has a sort of interesting sense of humor and the youth that will be great for Barry Allen and I think he's going to make a great Flash."

In addition to The Flash a.k.a. Barry Allen's appearance in "Batman V Superman," Aquaman (played by Jason Momoa) is also expected to show up as well.

Though he has yet to be introduced in any of the film's trailers, both are will likely team up with Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, laying the foundation for the "Justice League" movies.

"Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs," reads the official synopsis published by Screen Crush. "And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before."

Directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" features Henry Cavill as Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

With reports of The Flash appearing in the film, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.
