Ciara and Russell Wilson have been in the news once again after rumors swirled that they were finally engaged.

The "1, 2 Step" singer did admit to Entertainment Tonight that marriage was indeed on their horizon but there was no date yet. She even pointed out that the Seattle Seahawks quarterback has yet to put a ring on it.

"Look at my hand!" she exclaimed and then showed off her ring-less hand at the Billboard Women in Music red carpet.

"It's all about time," the "1, 2 Step" singer explained when asked when an engagement may be expected. "Everything falls in perfect timing with the way it's supposed to."

The Ciara and Russell Wilson engagement and wedding rumors only surfaced just last week. Prior to the singer's denial of the rumor, Celeb Dirty Laundry said the Seattle Seahawk's quarterback gave the singer a simple family heirloom to mark the engagement. They were also reportedly planning to get hitched in time for their first anniversary as a couple.

The "1, 2 Step" singer and quarterback only started dating in April as reported by E! Online. Since they started dating, all eyes were on the couple as they both have been very vocal about being celibate until they get hitched.

Aside from their celibacy, the couple has been the target of critics as well as fans after some concluded that the singer has been a distraction to the quarterback's games and performance. Back in September as told by Elite Daily, some fans even took to Twitter to express their dismay over the relationship.

But during the last three weeks though, fans had a change of heart after the Seattle Seahawks bagged winning streaks with Wilson giving his best plays of late. In a report on Seattle PI, several fans have even offered their apology for judging Russell Wilson and Ciara early on their relationship.
