This week, the latest Pokemon XY & Z anime episode has just aired in Japan, and now fans can watch the episode online.

In this episode, Serena is ready to have Eevee take on her very first Pokemon Showcase. However, Eevee gradually becomes more and more nervous as her debut approaches. Will it be able to perform successfully so Serena can obtain her third Princess Key?

This episode is coming off of the recent debut of Ash-Greninja, a new form which changes Greninja's appearance based on its bond with Ash.

"Ash's Greninja takes on a mysterious new appearance in the latest season," reads the official Pokemon website.

"Ash-Greninja is the form that Greninja takes when the bond between it and Ash is raised to the limit. The strength of their bond changes Greninja's appearance and it takes on the characteristic look of Ash's attire. This phenomenon is also said to have happened just once several hundred years ago in the Kalos region, but it remains shrouded in mystery."

Although not directly confirmed, it is highly likely the other occurrence in question is related to AZ Floette, a Pokemon that has become a hot topic as of late.

While do not yet have any news on a direct main franchise sequel, The Pokemon Company International's Director of Consumer Marketing J.C. Smith dropped the biggest hint yet regarding the future of the franchise.

During the 2015 Pokemon World Championships over the weekend, Nintendo World Report asked Smith to give one word regarding the future of the series.

"Flowers," he replied.
