Gerard Butler Goes See Broadway Musical Without Girlfriend Morgan Brown, Trouble With Wedding?

Gerard Butler went to see a Broadway musical without his girlfriend Morgan Brown in tow. The fact that she still may be in on the west coast without him means that there may be some trouble with their wedding.

According to Just Jared, "Gerard Butler shares a big sweet hug with Marlee Matlin while visiting her backstage after her performance in Spring Awakening at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre."

Knowing that Gerard Butler and Morgan Brown were inseparable all throughout summer and fall, it's a little odd that they haven't been caught spending much time with each other now.

In fact, Gerard Butler may have been avoiding his girlfriend Morgan Brown because he hasn't decided anything for her for this Christmas. Seeing how there were engagement and wedding rumors abound this summer, Gerard Butler may be ready to do something big for his girlfriend.

According to People, Gerard Butler confessed to the world just how horrible he is at getting Christmas gifts for the ones that he loves. He said, "[Buying presents is] normally a last-minute dash, I often find myself at my mother's house with her helping me wrap the last of the presents. Every year I say next year, I'm going to start earlier, but it never happens."

Let's hope that he took some initiative this year and got an amazing present for his girlfriend (and possible fiancee) Morgan Brown!

In other news, Gerard Butler is choosing to ignore all the controversy about "Gods of Egypt" and instead focusing on his wedding planning with his girlfriend Morgan Brown. According to the National, "Scottish film star Gerard Butler is at the centre of a row over the lack of racial diversity among the cast of the epic new film Gods Of Egypt. The Paisley-born actor has been caught up in the storm that has forced director Alex Proyas and producers Lionsgate to apologise for what is known in the industry as "whitewashing" the cast."

The article reports that this escalated when Bette Midler tweeted, "Movie, #GodsOfEgypt in which everyone is white? Egyptians, in history and today, have NEVER been white. BRING BACK GEOGRAPHY!! It's Africa!"

As for his relationship with Morgan Brown, Gerard Butler might have had a serious thought about their wedding this holiday season. Seeing how Gerard Butler will get very busy soon with "Gods of Egypt" promotional tour, it's now or never to nail the wedding date into place.
