One K-pop girl group will get up close and personal with Jack Black.

The eight members of Lovelyz will perform at a red carpet premiere event for the new animated flick "Kung Fu Panda 3" in Seoul on Wednesday, according to a statement from their agency, Woollim Entertainment.

"Lovelyz, who are fans of the 'Kung Fu Panda' movie series and Jack Black, will get the opportunity to stand on the red carpet stage with the actor," said a company rep.

Dream Works, the production studio behind the "Kung Fu Panda" franchise are said to have high expectations for the third installment in South Korea. It was the 2nd highest foreign grossing country for "Kung Fu Panda 2," reportedly bringing in $41.4 million at the Korean box office.

The film's star, Jack Black will be making his rounds of promotional appearances in Seoul, including Wednesday night's red carpet premiere and a live movie talk with Naver as well as a formal press conference on Thursday.

The American comedian and actor will also participate in an episode of one of Korea's longest-running variety shows, "Infinite Challenge."

Lovelyz debuted in late 2014 and most recently released "For You" this past December.
