Fans looking forward to seeing EXO’s Kai in Texas tomorrow night will be disappointed.

The popular EXO member, known for his dance skills and handsome appearance, will be unable to perform at the first stop of EXO’s North American EXO’luXion tour, set to kick off this week. Due to visa issues, Kai (Kim Jongin) is unable to perform in the United States for the time being and will not join other EXO members on stage in Dallas on Feb. 10.

My Music Taste, the local event coordinator, revealed the news in a statement on Monday, saying that their staff is working hard to ensure that Kai will be able to perform at the next step of the tour in Vancouver.

Any fan disappointed by Kai’s absence from the Dallas show will be able to receive a full refund. MyMusicTaste notified fans with refund information via Facebook.

Following Kai’s absence, EXO is down to only seven members attending the Texas show.

Several weeks ago, SM Entertainment announced that Lay (Zhang Yixing) would not be joining the other eight members of EXO due to his ongoing filming in China. Following the announcement, Lay received an injury on set of a Chinese drama, and is currently resting until he is able to return to filming.

The Feb. 10 is EXO’s first solo concert in North America, ahead of stops in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Chicago, and Newark.

We regret to tell you that EXO member KAI will not be able to attend the Dallas show due to visa delay. MMT is solely responsible for the misconduct while applying for the visas, and has tried everyday to resolve the problem at hand. The visa has not been issued, and therefore, KAI will not be able to go to the Dallas show. At any rate, we will try our best to have KAI participate in the rest of the tour starting from Vancouver.

We sincerely apologize to all EXO fans, ticket purchasers, EXO team and KAI, the artist management S.M. Entertainment, and the organizer DREAM MAKER ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED for our negligence.

Dallas show on 10th February 2016 will play, but unfortunately, without the presence of KAI. Should anyone want refund, Dallas tickets will be refunded at full price. MMT will make sure that any financial damage that may be caused by refund be fully compensated for. More detailed information regarding the refund policy will be posted tomorrow.
