Singer and actor Hwang Chi Yeol has been making waves within the last few days after his rendition of Big Bang's "Bang Bang Bang" went viral on the Chinese version of the singing survival show I Am A Singer.

On Feb. 5, Hwang took the stage performing the Big Bang hit in Mandarin while accompanied with a live band. With his rendition of the song starting off with a jazz melody, it then takes on inspiration from James Bond theme song when it evolves to soft rock in the chorus.

All suited up for his stage, Hwang's Bond-look captured the hearts as audience members and fellow competitors on the show were seen admiring his charms as he danced and combed his hair back.

In addition to a successful performance, the Chinese version of "Bang Bang Bang" led Hwang Chi Yeol first place in that week's episode.
