Kerli’s New Single ‘Feral Hearts’ Mesmerizes Listeners With A Magically Danceable Beat; Teases Video [VIDEO]

Kerli released her first music as an independent artist. "Feral Hearts" is the magical lead single from her upcoming first independent album. Kerli, the who burst on the scene with hypnotic and haunting songs and music video for "Walking on Air," produced the song with a little help from her fans.

Kerli is something of a Cult music icon and her fans have something of a religious devotion to the mesmerizing singer. On Twitter, Kerli calls herself "Musician, Magician, MoonChild and a DIY nerd."

She forged a partnership with PledgeMusic to produce an entirely crowd-funded record for her loyal followers - better known as the Moon Children.

"My sweet Moon Children," Kerli wrote to Facebook and Twitter, "I wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your mind blowing support and love these past few months (and like, the past 10 years:). Thanks for your pledges."

"Feral Hearts" is an emotional EDM track, filled with synths and layers of otherworldly strings and entrancing vocals. The music video appears to be set in a world of forest creatures, nymphs and faeries.

Kerli is one of very few singers from Estonia who have broken internationally. She hit the charts with her debut single "Walking on Air" helped by a scintillating spooky video. The 29-year old singer returned with the dance hits "Lucky Ones" and "Army of Love" and the ballad "Love Me Or Leave Me."

"Walking On Air" made the charts internationally and was downloaded more than 500,000 time swhen it was featured on the iTunes Store's Single of the Week. Kerli's song "Tea Party" was featured on Almost Alice. she left her alternative rock sound behind and mesmerized audiences with electronic and dance music. Her first single with producer tyDi was called "Glow in the Dark.

After Kerli released the song "Love Is Dead," she got to work on her second studio album which became her second extended play Utopia. It was released in early 2013 and became Kerli's second release to chart on the Billboard 200. Kerli put out two singles from the EP, "Army of Love" and "Zero Gravity" before the album's release and the first official single, "The Lucky Ones." All three songs made it to the Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart's top ten. Two of the songs made it to number one.

In 2013, Kerli performed on Dancing with the Stars. The same year she left Island Records and signed a record deal with Ultra Music. The Estonian singer Kerli teamed up with DJ/producer TyDi a new dance track called "Stardust." Kerli teamed up with DJ/producer TyDi a for the dance track "Stardust."

Kerli lived in California for seven years. She moved to the woods in her homeland of Estonia.

"After spending half of my life living and creating in different parts of the planet, I have found a deep appreciation and a way back to my ancient Estonian roots. The art you're about to experience was made during a year in which I soaked in this magical land's inspiration by practicing an extremely simple lifestyle by myself in a little forest temple, having not much else with me than my music making tools. I am humbled to share the first piece with the world as these are some of the most honest sounds and visuals I've ever created. It is my hope that they bring as much joy to the listener as they have to me while birthing them into reality."

As a songwriter, Kerli co-wrote "Skyscraper," which was recorded by Demi Lovato and "I Feel Immortal", which was sung by Tarja Turunen. Kerli released her version of "I Feel Immortal" on Frankenweenie Unleashed!"

Kerli starred in Seven Lions' fantasy music video "Worlds Apart," which tells the the story of lovers separated who are separated by a universe. Seven Lions was off the five-song EP Worlds Apart which also featured Ellie Goulding and Tove Lo. The video was produced by DGReps, a creative talent agency who's founder has roots with renowned artist management company TH3RD BRAIN behind Krewella, ZHU, and Pegboard Nerds, it's fairly obvious why this video is of exceptional quality.
