This week's episode begins with Kiki giving Shirayuki the walnut stone and filling her in about the plan to lead Zen and the others to the Claw's hideout. Back at the palace, soldiers begin to recruit extra hands to deal with The Claw of the Sea. The problem is that the people don't believe in Prince Raj.

Raj hears the inactiveness of the crowd and decides to speak to them directly. At first he's nervous, but then he shows resolve and asks for their strength. Back aboard the Claw's ship, Umihebi demands to see Shirayuki after hearing that three ships are approaching.

Shirayuki is brought to the deck as the Raj's royal fleet approaches them. Raj announces that Shirayuki is an official "Friend of the Crown" and demands The Claw cooperate. Umihebi says to slip out to the west so they can lose the royal ships in the Blue Vortex. Umihebi also cuts Shirayuki's face.

The Claw ship escapes the royal fleet. Raj struggles to lead his ship and then directs the crew to steer through the Blue Vortex. He also manages to get sick while doing so. Shirayuki, Kazuki, and Kiki arrive at the Claw of the Sea's hideout - and underground cave.

Umihebi is celebrating until Raj's ship arrives and rams their ship. Kiki begins to fight back, and then the rest of the crew arrives. Zen demands Umihebi let go of Shirayuki, who she holds with a knife at her neck. Obi frees Shirayuki and Zen helps her and Kazuki escape. The Lions of the Mountain handle it from there. Kazuki goes to help them.

Zen and Shirayuki embrace. Zen then sends Shirayuki to wait with the guards and heads back to fight Umihebi. Itoya finally gets her to submit. As everyone regroups, Shirayuki suddenly realizes that Itoya is her father.
